Made upon request for a lawyer friend. Theme was goddess of justice (Greek goddess Dike/Themis - literature contradictions / Roman goddess Justitia), often portrayed also with a sword, I left that one out.
Mixed media (Liners, watercolors, rough chalk and white ink) on 300 g NOT Fabriano paper, 30 x 42 cm, Jun 2012
What an interesting picture. It's isn't quite you usual style, but still great. You managed to use the colours in a way that reminds me of lightening, for some reason.Focused, powerful and decisive. It's very well done .You are very good at it.
I like the way how abstract-ish it is;how are you doing it?
I can see there are two birds on her shoulder.I wonder if they have a special meaning...
For some reason, this painting kind of reminds of the statue of liberty,in the U.S.A. I just realised it now...
Overall,great picture!
Very good job
P.S.:I am taking half a star of because of it was kind of your friend's idea,so...yeah.
Very well, let's start with the critique
