This is simply beautiful.

I have to incorporate your description in this because it definitely swayed my thoughts on it.

When I see it is titled "Mourn" I look to this picture and see a person in mourning. You also wrote, "all we do is try to understand," and I look to this picture and I see this face as a speaker, but perhaps the unsaid is who is trying to understand this face who mourns, who takes so much to try to understand.

The emotion captured in the eyes is magnetic. The colors are nice and remind me of shades of stone or pebbles in a brook of moving water. Perhaps this face could be a reflection in that water.

The only thing I am unsure of is whether or not I'm interpreting this to in the way you were trying to present this. Never the less, I believe this is my favorite.

There is no mouth, and as always, the eyes always seem to be holding all that needs to be told. This is a very good message.

You're ability with water color and unique way of presenting that in this piece are stunning. Fantastic job!
