You can forget your keys on purpose, you can buy a plane, you can tell the truth or a lie, you can cry and scream from the top of your lungs, you can set my tree on fire... I will sit here and live my dream.
Painting is a way of dreaming, way of creating anything you would ever miss.
Mixed media (watercolors, ink & acrylic) on 300g NOT Fabriano paper, 30 x 42 cm, Jun 2012
Well where do i start... Such a clever use of colours! i love the reds and blues you've used here, it's an incredibly emotional mix! (the colours alone express a lot). And then going on to the face.. expert way of proportion, and I see a young girl, she has hints of innocence yet a slight hint of danger and electric within this individual. Quite powerful. Of course the eyes tell so much just at a tiny glance... Also i really like the watery yet scratchy texture, it leads so much depth into it! i could look at this for a very long time and discover more and more about this brilliant masterpiece!
Wonderful piece! I like how everything seems to flow from her eyes. It's as if there are two great big flows of tears, that's trying to tell the audience something. It's as if she has a great big rush of thoughts inside of her and it's all trying to get out of once, like it's an uncontrollable mass of force. Is she crying from pain? Or is she experiencing an epiphany and all her ideas are rushing out to the world, expanding and developing? The colors. I like how its a mix of blue, brown, and white and how it's all jumbled together in a messy way. But in an aesthetic way. Maybe whatever the tears signifies is a jumble of a mess of ideas? They could be the messy arrangement of thoughts and words that are revolving in her head, creating a massive explosion of color. I like how this holds so much signifigance and interpretation. It goes in so deep and holds so much meaning with the color. It feels spiritual. I can see that reflected in the eyes. Overall, this looks like an overall wholeness of the person that specifically represents that individual. The massive colors are burning with so much of the essence and soul of this person. Does this sound weird or right to you? Tell me if it does.

* Fantastic work! Featured in Special-Groups in folder Featured nº 4. (Best works of the group).
The lips and the eyes are just perfect! the many different brushstrokes, the multiple shades of orange and blue and the small amount of red, altogether an absolutely stunning artwork!
So lovely. I love the contrast the two paints make and the color choice. This is what I love about deviantart, its like "Wow, I have got to try that!", as long as you don't copy XD
