First of all, this is incredibly beautiful and I have NO BUSINESS critiquing such great art.
Now that that's out of the way...I personally can really relate to this piece, and I think that most people could as well. I feel that that is one of the most important aspects of art in general, and you just NAILED it.
The colors are so emotional, the bright, screaming red beside the depressive blue...just like the anger and despair of utter depression. The background lines are chaotic like tangled, confusing emotion.
The faces, not immediately obvious to the viewer, torment the nude subject, who is slumped on the ground in dejection, hiding her face. You can just FEEL how deeply the bullying affects her.
I left off one half of one star for technique, because I'm a little confused about her crotch/upper thigh area...is she wearing something? Her skin seems odd there. And because the outstretched foot and knee look a little disconnected with each other, or oddly twisted.
Overall, one of the best pieces of art I've ever seen in my life, and the most emotional. Amazing.
I really feel this way, when I have to go to sleep… The voices can't stop going around my head and shout at me… I can feel with the woman in the picture, and I can't figure out, what is worse: This emotional painting or the content about it: It says the truth !
