Eye study made with watercolor and pen on 250g cold-pressed paper, original is small ( 15 x 21 cm / 5.9 x 8.3 ") and was gifted to my friend before it was featured as a DD (:
Credits: Huge part of my watercolor practice and technique learning lies within very helpful videos of =agnes-cecile on YouTube, I am very grateful that there are artists like her who teach people all around the world this way
A Daily Deviation! Big thanks to =Natalia-Luz, ~ruby604 and =lucid-light for suggesting and to ^SamuelRaffa for featuring and of course for all the , comments, appreciation.
Not too great at writing Critiques, but lets give it a shot! This image is really stunning.I like the fine line and watercolors. when I first looked at it I thought it was a photo.I love the design, and detail in the eyes and the face and in the colors. It has wonderful quality.i love the idea. The tones give off a bright feel. Overall, the concept for this is strong.I love the colors, it really lights up the color. it looks real and amazing . i wish i could draw that good.Ii have no more words to say about it and i must
I love the life and the intensity of the eyes bring especially with the light glints on the irises. The detailing on the eye is just amazing using different shades to have a realistic effect into it. This is very well done, indeed.
I love how you keep it realistic but abstract as well with the blending of the watercolours on this piece to function as subtle shadings and this really brings the realistic eyes out of the paper, with its naturalistic look as well as the natural shading around the eyes.
As I look into the eyes, I feel like I have delved into that person's world and her look suggests that she has either an intimate story or a secret to tell which is impacted by the glints of her eyes.
