Bird studies in watercolor

Description

Hello guys ♥ I just have a small painting doodle (I guess) for you today, it's a larger watercolor sheet full of small colorful birdies, painted with watercolor :) I do this exercise during workshops, we only paint shapes without sketching and fill them with color, keeping in mind the color value just a little bit, but rather mixing cold and warm tones.

This is very beautiful and amusing to me! One thing I would suggest is letting the watercolor pool more around the edge of the image so it has a sort of an outline. Also, the branch that the bird on the bottom left corner could be shaded or blended more like the other branch that yellow bird is sitting on. I, personally, would like the colours blended a bit better, but that's completely up to you! Also, other than using warm and cool colours on one bird, it may be more visually pleasing to have one bird filled with warm colours and a different bird filled with cool colours. Other than these points, I really loved this painting!
